Ski The Canyons - Customize your The Canyons ski vacations with Ski.com

The Canyons Resort, located in Park City is Utah's single largest ski and snowboard resort, making it literally the ultimate playland. With premier snow conditions, ideal terrain and an impressive array of lodges, restaurants, and retail shops in the Resort Village, The Canyons is quickly becoming a destination of its own. The Canyons' 3,700 acres of skiable terrain that includes expansive bowls, groomed cruisers, and expansive intermediate terrain show that there truly is something for everyone.

The Canyons features eight peaks, sprawling gladed tree runs, 6 natural halfpipes, and 2 world-class terrain parks. The Canyons Resort will take you by surprise. Once a small locals' mountain, The Canyons is now the biggest story in US skiing.

Your Canyons Vacation

The Canyons has been blessed with incredibly varied terrain, breathtaking panoramas, and plenty of sweet Utah powder. Now, thanks to $33 million spent upgrading and expanding the resort, skiing The Canyons now covers 3,700 acres stretching over eight peaks, including the legendary Ninety-Nine 90 and in the next several years will include expansion onto a ninth peak "Iron Mountain".

During the past year, development at The Canyons has been in full swing. Two brand new hotels have been completed including Escala Lodges and Sunrise at Escala. The world-class Escala properties will add 270 units to The Canyons already massive rental pool, giving The Canyons over 700 available rental units. In addition to the development in The Canyons base area, The Dakota Mountain Lodge completed phase 1 during the 2009 summer. The Dakota Mountain Lodge is a Waldorf=Astoria property and is home to a Golden Door Spa and the award-winning Spruce Restaurant.

Good
The canyons is a great glade/ tree skiing mountain.  It has mostly advanced intermediate skiing.  Nothing to do at the resort at night.  Park City has more; but nothing outstanding.  It is a good family vacation.
