Ski The Canyons - Customize your The Canyons ski vacations with Ski.com

The 2002 Winter Olympic Games cast an international spotlight on Park City and The Canyons. With premier snow conditions, ideal terrain and an impressive array of lodges, restaurants, clubs and retail shops, the area is a deserving venue. With expansive bowls, groomed World Cup runs, and friendly intermediate terrain, Park City and The Canyons are a tough combination to beat.

Park City’s Town Lift provides the Old Town with ski-in/ski-out access. The Canyons is Utah’s largest ski mountain with eight peaks, sprawling tree runs and a world-class terrain park. The Canyons Resort will take you by surprise. Once a small locals' mountain, The Canyons is now the biggest story in US skiing.

Your Canyons Vacation

It's always been blessed with incredibly varied terrain, breathtaking panoramas, and plenty of sweet Utah powder. Now, thanks to $33 million spent upgrading and expanding the resort, skiing the Canyons now covers 3,700 acres stretching over eight peaks, including the legendary Ninety-Nine 90 and the newly opened "Dreamscape".

The lift system has also undergone major improvements, with 15 total lifts, 12 of them new, including an eight-passenger gondola and five high-speed quads, whisking skiers to the top of the Wasatch Range in the Rocky Mountains.

This year will herald the opening of phase II of The Canyons Resort Village. And with additional expansion plans being prepared, The Canyons will continue to sit at the pinnacle of western skiing.

Let us show you how to create an unforgettable ski vacation today to this remarkable ski resort. Come ski the Canyons with Ski.com.

Excellent

First let me start this off by commenting on how close (and convenient) the airport is to the resort. From rental car pick up to the front door of Red Pine Condo was about 40 minutes. Side note: since you have to check in off site (about 2 miles past the resort) take this time to stop by Albertsons on...

Good
The canyons is a great glade/ tree skiing mountain.  It has mostly advanced intermediate skiing.  Nothing to do at the resort at night.  Park City has more; but nothing outstanding.  It is a good family vacation.
